The father of six and grandfather of six, John Mayall at 75 hopes to keep the blues live for many more years to come. Wings, Wheels and Steam Day @ Groombridge Place Gardens & Enchanted Forest

Groombridge Place Gardens and Enchanted Forest are hosting a special Wings, Wheels and Steam Day. Visitors will be able to see up to 400 classic and vintage cars, breathtaking aerobatic displays, steam road engines and a special intensive timetable of steam trains on the Spa Valley Railway. There will also be a classic bus providing free transfers between Groombridge Place and the station. It’s all taking place on July 19th from 10am. Admission is £9.45 for adults, £7.95 for senior citizens and children aged between 3 and 12 years old. Open Air Theatre @ Tonbridge Castle
3rd & 16th July and 25th August 2009
A series of Open Air Theatre performances are taking place at Tonbridge Castle this summer starting with The Mowgli Stories on July 3rd, followed by The Three Musketeers on July 16th and A Midsummers Night Dream on August 25th. The Gates open at 6pm with the shows starting at 7pm. Tickets are £10 for adults and £6 for children.
